At Petit Jean Electric and Petit Jean Fiber, we believe communication matters. 
Over the past several months, our team has been working hard behind the scenes on a new and improved website designed to better serve our members with easier access to information, resources, and updates.
This project has been more than just a website refresh. It has been part of our ongoing commitment to listen to our members, improve communication, and continue building a culture of radical transparency.
One of the newest additions to the website is our Meeting Archives (or board minutes) section, where members can now access approved board meeting minutes. We know many members have asked for greater access to information, and this is one step toward making that information more available and easier to find.
We are currently working with our website developer to upload the 2026 meeting minutes that have been approved so far. We hope to have those available within the next 90 days and possibly even sooner. Moving forward, our goal is to have meeting minutes added to the website as quickly as possible after they are approved by the board.
Another question we have heard from members is, “Can members attend board meetings?” The answer is yes. Members are welcome to attend meetings as long as they follow the established board meeting policy. To help provide clarity and accessibility, that policy has also now been added to the website for members to review at any time.
We also want members to know that the website is still a work in progress. As with any large project, improvements and additions will continue over time. We are committed to continual improvement and will keep working to make the website more informative, user-friendly, and transparent for our members.
We understand that our members want more information, more communication, and greater visibility into their cooperative. We hear that, and this website update reflects our commitment to continue improving in those areas.
As a cooperative, we believe transparency builds trust. While no organization is perfect, we are committed to continuing to grow, communicate, and serve our members with openness and accountability.
We encourage members to explore this new website and continue sharing feedback with us. Your input helps shape the future of Petit Jean Electric and Petit Jean Fiber, and we appreciate every opportunity to better serve you and our communities.
