As a new school year begins across the Petit 
Jean Electric service area, our team is excited to welcome students back to the classroom!
For the past few years, Petit Jean Electric and Petit Jean Fiber employees have started the school year in a special way: greeting students on their first day with bright, encouraging signs, high-fives, and plenty of smiles. It's become one of our favorite traditions, and our employees look forward to it every year.
Whether it's a simple "You've Got This!" or "Have a Great Day!" written on a sign, we hope those words of encouragement help students begin the school year with confidence and excitement.
At Petit Jean Electric and Petit Jean Fiber, we're proud to serve the communities where we live and work. Supporting local schools is one of the many ways we demonstrate our commitment to our members and our communities. Our employees aren't just serving your electric needs; they're your neighbors, parents, grandparents, coaches, volunteers, and friends.
As buses roll, school zones become busy, and students head back to class, we encourage everyone to slow down and stay alert. Watch for children crossing streets, obey school zone speed limits, and be extra cautious around buses loading and unloading students. A little extra patience goes a long way in helping keep everyone safe.
To all of the students, teachers, school staff, and families across our service area, we wish you a safe, successful, and memorable school year. We can't wait to cheer you on as you head back to school!
