The Member Connection Tour

Join The Member Connection Tour: A Member Engagement Experience of Appreciation
Introduction: This year, we're doing things differently. What began as a town hall to address broadband and billing has grown into something more meaningful. The Member Connection Tour is a reset. A chance to rebuild trust, reconnect with members, and bring the cooperative closer to the people it serves.
These four community meetings replace the originally announced town hall and are designed with one goal in mind: to show that your voice matters.
This is not just a meeting. It’s an invitation to step into the future of your cooperative.
Why Attend?
- Hear the Real Story: Get updates on broadband, billing, and the state of the co-op from leadership and local voices.
- Ask Anything: No topic is off the table. This is your cooperative, and we’re here to listen.
- Feel Appreciated: Enjoy refreshments, giveaways, and a warm welcome from your neighbors and co-op team.
- Be Part of the Change: Learn how the 7 Cooperative Principles are guiding our path forward.

FAQ
Join Us. Let’s Move Forward, Together.
Because at Petit Jean Electric Cooperative, you’re not just a member. You’re an owner.
It’s a four-stop member event tour replacing the previously announced town hall meeting. It includes updates from leadership, open Q&A, and community appreciation.
We realized that calling it a “town hall” gave the impression of a one-way meeting or a complaint session. This tour is a new direction for us. It’s a chance for Petit Jean management and staff to truly connect with all the members, have open conversations, and show appreciation in a more meaningful setting.
We aimed to host events in locations that are geographically balanced across our service territory, so members wouldn’t have to travel too far. We also considered staff availability and venue access. These locations allow us to reach the most members while managing resources wisely. All dates are listed in advance so you can plan to join us at the event closest to you.
No RSVP is necessary. It’s a members-only event to show our appreciation. Just show up with a copy of your bill or identification that matches the name on your account, and join the conversation. We want to make sure we’re serving the people who are part of our cooperative community.
Yes! Light refreshments and small appreciation gifts will be provided at every stop.
Absolutely. We’re prepared to address those concerns directly and transparently.
CEO Michael Kirkland, local community members, staff, and invited guests. Each location will feature speakers who understand your area.
We’ll use your feedback to shape our next steps and improve how we serve you. This is just the beginning.
