Dear Petit Jean Electric Cooperative Member,
As we move into the end of 2022, we reflect on how quickly another year has gone by. It’s hard to believe that a new year will soon be upon us! As we look back on the past year, we are proud of the many ways our rural communities have grown and changed as the result of our cooperative’s continued commitment to delivering reliable and affordable high-speed internet.
You know by now the many ways fiber transforms daily life, with a world of possibilities at your fingertips for online learning, efficient working from home, convenient telemedicine, endless streaming, gaming and entertainment options and face-to-face real-time connections to family and friends.
I’m pleased to let you know that throughout 2022, we have made great progress in bringing fiber broadband service to our communities. We leveraged several federal and state funding opportunities to expand our service, and Petit Jean’s service is now available in 7,000 homes and businesses throughout our territory in portions of counties including Van Buren, Cleburne, Conway and Faulkner.
Currently, the project is in Phase 1, which includes the following areas: Scotland, Cleveland, Jerusalem, Bee Branch, Damascus, Quitman, Guy and as of this month Clinton.
We are proud of all that we’ve accomplished in 2022 to date:
- 1,100 total miles of fiber line built
- 1,055 customers connected
- 8 fiber huts installed that light the fiber for our communities
At Petit Jean Electric Cooperative, our sole reason for offering high-speed internet services through Petit Jean Fiber is to meet the needs of members like you. We are working as quickly as possible to reach all our members with world-class fiber to provide faster, more reliable and more affordable options to stay connected online.
Fiber-fast internet packages start as low as $69.99 a month 100 Mbps – symmetrical uploading anddownloading – with no data caps or throttling back on speed. Gigabit speed is also available for our power users for $119.99 per month.

It’s the easiest way to know exactly when fiber internet is coming to your neighborhood, and it does not automatically subscribe you to the service.
