Construction of Petit Jean Fiber's fiber network is a complex process that involves numerous contractors and a mix of overhead and underground construction to lay distribution lines. The time it takes is dependent on a number of variables including the length of the circuit, terrain and soils, weather, and other external factors.

Petit Jean Electric jumped at the opportunity to help members in need when COVID – 19 began wreaking havoc on our membership last spring. For 15 months, Petit Jean Electric has kept the lights on, no matter if the bills have been paid or not.
We are almost half way through 2021 after living through a year like no other. Each of us has seen our lives and communities immeasurably changed by the Covid – 19 pandemic.
Over the next few weeks and coming months, Petit Jean Electric will have contractors in the Quitman, Clinton Industrial, Scotland and Cleveland areas.
The Petit Jean Electric offices will be closed Monday, May 31, 2021, in observance of Memorial Day.
